Hi 196.36.203.161. I am sorry if any of my recent edits to the Welkom article have offended you. I just came across the article and it seemed like quite a mess so I thought I'd neaten it up a bit and remove some non-notable content (such as the services offered at the Bongani Hospital and extensive species lists, as the article is not about a conservation area etc.) The information regarding the first (1976) earthquake I placed under Apartheid era, as this was when it occurred, and it is, after all, part of the town's history. If you would like me to move the former "Unique" Geology (I don't think this word should be used though) content to it's own section, I would not mind. The economy section I copied almost directly, so I do not understand why you say I deleted it? I seem to have forgotten to include the information regarding the traffic circles, which I will add immediately as I also think this is one of the city's defining characteristics. Nevertheless, I think I did a satisfactory job in making the article more intuitive to navigate by formatting it in the way most other articles on settlements are laid out. Medupi Power Station edit
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. The parts of the article that aren't criticism read like a promotional brochure, not n encyclopedia article. The article need to be trimmed further to make it more like an encyclopedia article. Edward321 (talk) 14:47, 11 November 2014 (UTC)
