May 2014 edit

Your edit to Badger has been reverted as it's not constructive to the article. Your claims are unsourced, and not in any way substantiated by other material within the article. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 00:10, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add or change content, as you did to Badger, without verifying it by citing a reliable source. Please review the guidelines at Wikipedia:Citing sources and take this opportunity to add references to the article.
While you did add a reference this time, you misrepresented what is actually contained in that reference. Even if it supported the material you are trying to add (which it doesn't), the behaviour in the news article is clearly listed as non-typical behaviour. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 00:18, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Ah go on, I reckon they can break a man's arm. They're tough wee fellows. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.80.104.51 (talkcontribs) 00:19, 6 May 2014‎

What you "reckon" would fall under what Wikipedia calls original research, and is not acceptable as grounds for supporting content additions to articles. You need third-party reliable sources. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 00:22, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

I have a mate who knows quite a bit about badgers, in fact he used to be one I hear, and he broke another guys arm on a night out once. There's a Facebook status about this, could I perhaps reference that?

No, now you're firmly in the realm of vandalism. Further disruption will result in a block. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 00:29, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Oh, I see. I guess I'd better take a 'break' from Wikipedia then. Get it?

I was just having a bit of ARMless fun.

Okay, I'll stop badgering you now. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 194.80.104.51 (talkcontribs) 00:43, 6 May 2014‎

Request reason:

I can vouch for Keith Badgerington, he's a top-notch lad. He didn't mean to break that wee lad's arm, and even visited him in hospital with chocolate to apologise! But as every cloud has its silver lining, I feel Keith's somewhat unorthodox contribution to science should be recognised. That is, badgers can break a man's arm. Just like penicillin, it was discovered under the influence of copious amounts of alcohol by accident, and I reckon if Big Al Flemdog referenced his Facebook page, you'd 'OK' it.

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. [stwalkerster|talk] 19:43, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

Hey Tony (can I call you that?), that's a relief! I'm a little bit short at the minute, and was hoping to use that $5 for a small pizza, or perhaps one of those tasty double cheeseburgers from McDonald's, or as they call them, a quarterpounder with cheese. I don't suppose I could have a chat to Mr. Wikipedia about this?~

Decline reason:

No. Talk page access revoked. Kinu t/c 20:09, 6 May 2014 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Joyous!. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Tommy McGuigan, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners.
