Attention:

This IP address, 194.154.211.73, is registered to Etude Arendt-Medernach and may be shared by multiple users. Comments left on this page may be received by other users of this IP and appear to be irrelevant. Caution should be used when blocking this IP or reverting its contributions without checking - if a block is needed, administrators should consider using a soft block.

If you are an unregistered user operating from this address, note that this need not necessarily be the IP address of your machine. In many cases, it turns out to be the IP address of a proxy server that communicates between your browser and the Wikimedia servers. Such proxies are shared among a huge number of users compared to the number of persons using your particular machine. If you are frustrated by irrelevant comments appearing here, you can avoid them by creating an account for yourself.

However, you might still be unable to edit Wikipedia if the IP you are using is blocked due to a MediaWiki "feature". In such a case you could request to be unblocked.

In the event of vandalism from this address, efforts will be made to contact Etude Arendt-Medernach to report network abuse.

  • The team at the WikiProject on open proxies are looking into this with all their technical equipment and superinternet know-how and will get back to you shortly! Thanks! ЯEDVERS 14:48, 16 August 2006 (UTC)Reply
    • I've unblocked your IP address following verification. My apologies for not unblocking sooner, I didn't know from the comments made by the proxy-checking admin whether your server was officially verified or not. --Deathphoenix ʕ 16:17, 23 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

July 2011 edit

There are a number of problems with your recent editing to Arendt & Medernach.

  1. Please do not add promotional material to Wikipedia. While objective prose about beliefs, products or services is acceptable, Wikipedia is not intended to be a vehicle for soapboxing, advertising or promotion.
  2. If you are affiliated with some of the people, places or things you have written about in the article, you have a conflict of interest, or close connection to the subject. All editors are required to comply with Wikipedia's neutral point of view content policy. People who are very close to a subject often have a distorted view of it, which may cause them to inadvertently edit in ways that make the article either too flattering or too disparaging. You should normally avoid writing about the subject, and if for some reason you do so you need to be especially careful about following the reliable sources and writing with as little bias as possible. Exercise great caution so that you do not accidentally breach Wikipedia's content policies.
  3. Please do not remove maintenance templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did to Arendt & Medernach, without resolving the problem that the template refers to, or giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your removal of these templates does not appear constructive, and has been reverted. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 14:39, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Your addition to Arendt & Medernach has been removed, as it appears to have added copyrighted material to Wikipedia without permission from the copyright holder. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other websites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites or publications as a source of information, but not as a source of article content such as sentences or images. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing. JamesBWatson (talk) 15:14, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, talk pages are meant to be a record of a discussion; deleting or editing legitimate comments, as you did at User talk:JamesBWatson, is considered bad practice, even if you meant well. Even making spelling and grammatical corrections in others' comments is generally frowned upon, as it tends to irritate the users whose comments you are correcting. Take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. JamesBWatson (talk) 15:23, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to delete or edit legitimate talk page comments, as you did at User talk:JamesBWatson, you may be blocked from editing. JamesBWatson (talk) 15:25, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 15:40, 18 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
