Your edits

Hi, and thanks for your contributions. I noticed that you linked some dates recently. This practice is now deprecated. Please see WP:LINKING and WP:MOSNUM. Furthermore, there is an Arbcom restriction on mass linking/delinking of chronological elements, although this is no suggestion from me that you are in breach whatsoever. I'm happy to respond to any inquiries you may have about the matter. Thank you for your attention. Dabomb87 (talk) 23:03, 27 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions. One of the core policies of Wikipedia is that articles should always be written from a neutral point of view. Please remember to observe our core policies. Thank you. — Σxplicit 01:19, 28 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Please do not make test edits to articles, as you did with this edit to Randy Jackson (musician), even if you intend to fix them later. Such edits constitute vandalism, and will be reverted. If you would like to experiment further, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Newportm (talk) 01:54, 29 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

This is your last warning. You will be blocked from editing the next time you vandalize a page, as you did with this edit to 1971. 2help (message me) 05:31, 29 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Can't Hang

edit

The article Can't Hang has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Fails WP:NSONGS.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the Proposed Deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The Speedy Deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and Articles for Deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Dabrat196153.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. FASTILY (TALK) 04:19, 20 October 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your Unnecessary Changes

edit

I suggest you STOP making UNNECESSARY edits to the recording dates of songs or albums that other people TOOK THE TIME to RESEARCH and type into the infoboxes! Next time you make INNACCURATE changes to a recording/release date that has an ACTUAL SOURCE next to it OR was actually RESEARCHED to be added, I will report it as VANDALISM! An example is the changes you made to Destiny's Child's first single No, No, No Part 1. The group DIDN'T BEGIN recording their FIRST album until the SUMMER of 1997, NOT 1996! Please take that into consideration as it confuses people who do read background information on a single or album, INCLUDING the recording dates. Carmaker1 (talk) 22:22, 23 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

Unhelpful Edits

edit

Please refrain from making edits related to dates when you don't provide proof on doing so. It can be considered unwarranted vandalism. Numerous users are complaining about your edits and it would help if you communicate with them to understand each others points. If you continue to do so and do not give reasons or provide sufficient proof, I will block you immediately and you may not be able to register again.

Please cease adding arbitrary dates to album and single recording and release dates

edit

Some of the dates you have added are erroneous. If you have a reference that purports to support any of these dates, please present this reference here at this page in this thread and I will help you to understand whether it is a WP:Reliable source or not, and if so, how to cite your reference when you make changes in the future.

Be advised, especially considering that this page includes at least two other requests to stop posting unsupported and erroneous dates, any further unreferenced and undiscussed edits of this sort will be considered vandalism. I look forward to your response. Thanks, Abrazame (talk) 07:10, 16 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

US date formats

edit

In a recent edit to the page Dolly (sheep), you changed one or more words from one international variety of English to another. Because Wikipedia has readers from all over the world, our policy is to respect national varieties of English in Wikipedia articles.

For subjects exclusively related to Britain (for example, a famous British person), use British English. For something related to the United States in the same way, use American English. For something related to other English-speaking countries, such as Canada, Australia, or New Zealand, use the appropriate variety of English used there. If it is an international topic, use the same form of English the original author used.

In view of that, please don't change articles from one version of English to the other, even if you don't normally use the version the article is written in. Respect other people's versions of English. They in turn should respect yours. Other general guidelines on how Wikipedia articles are written can be found in the Wikipedia:Manual of Style. If you have any queries about all this, you can ask me on my talk page or you can visit the help desk. Thank you. --McGeddon (talk) 16:20, 24 January 2010 (UTC)Reply
