Hello, I'm Zinnober9. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, American Pie (film series), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Sales links are not permitted Zinnober9 (talk) 18:24, 4 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to American Pie (film series). Wikipedia is not a collection of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include, but are not limited to, links to personal websites, links to websites with which you are affiliated (whether as a link in article text, or a citation in an article), and links that attract visitors to a website or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam guideline for further explanations. Because Wikipedia uses the nofollow attribute value, its external links are disregarded by most search engines. If you feel the link should be added to the page, please discuss it on the associated talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Zinnober9 (talk) 22:24, 4 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

1. WP:VENDOR
2. Zinnober9 didn't read my message right. I was talking about the spin-offs, not the main series. Just take a look at all the Amazon links there. Also a few Wikipedia links as well. He should have removed those too, and he didn't.
3. Added info about the new movie only. No intention to disrupt. 190.89.167.143 (talk) 15:19, 5 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

Regardless of whether your intention is to disrupt, your actions are indeed disruptive. You'll need to address what was said on WP:ANI. You should read the guide to appealing blocks first, to give your appeal a better chance of succeeding. --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇 15:23, 5 July 2021 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Editing while blocked

edit

While you are blocked from editing it is not acceptable to get round the block by using another IP address or account. From what you have written it seems that you did so only to post a talk page message, not to get round the block to edit articles, but even so you shouldn't edit until the block is over, either because it has expired or because an administrator has accepted an unblock request. I have blocked the IP address you used to avoid the block. JBW (talk) 16:28, 6 July 2021 (UTC)Reply
