October 2021 edit

Hello, I'm Loafiewa. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, IMI Galil, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Loafiewa (talk) 17:06, 27 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

Please do not add commentary, your own point of view, or your own personal analysis to Wikipedia articles, as you did to IMI Galil. Doing so violates Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy and breaches the formal tone expected in an encyclopedia. Thank you. Loafiewa (talk) 13:59, 28 October 2021 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Managing a conflict of interest edit

Hello, 186.29.90.110. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a conflict of interest may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

In addition, you are required by the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use to disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation. See Wikipedia:Paid-contribution disclosure.

Also, editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Loafiewa (talk) 11:07, 14 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

CONFLICT OF INTEREST edit

— Preceding unsigned comment added by 186.29.90.110 (talk) 19:50, 17 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks very much for the response; but "may have" is not enough to decree a conflict of interest. Working for the product manufacturer and making a TECHNICAL comment on a product is not and will not be grounds for having a conflict of interest. Nobody can say anything more concrete about NASA than NASA itself. Finally, regarding Paid Contribution, that's not true either, because NOBODY is paying me to edit anything. Clearly, you have no idea how Wiki rules work and need to excuse a mistake generated by your lack of knowledge.

All content added to articles must be verifiable edit

Hello, I'm Mathglot. I noticed that you added content about Colombia to the article Overview of gun laws by nation, but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at referencing for beginners, and please see WP:Verifiability for an overview of Wikipedia's policy on sourcing.
