editHello, I'm Materialscientist. I noticed that you made a change to an article, Admiral (gambling), but you didn't provide a source. I’ve removed it for now, but if you’d like to include a citation to a reliable source and re-add it, please do so! If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Materialscientist (talk) 11:28, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- Hi yes I can provide all relevant sources! Can you give me a hint what has been mising please? I do believe it's a mistake since it's now more accurate information about Admiral 185.16.77.249 (talk) 11:30, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
- I've only checked with my IP from Austria (our Greentube company headquarter) how it looked like within the SERP. I've tried then to see how it looks from UK side, can you please help me changing it back as I've done it? I really appreciate your help on this matter we just want to provide the best possible information 185.16.77.249 (talk) 11:33, 17 March 2022 (UTC)

- Please review Wikipedia's rules on conflict of interest and mandatory paid editing disclosure policy. Your statement of "making sure our brand is protected" demonstrates that your interests are self-serving. The conflict of interest page clearly states:
As an encyclopedia, Wikipedia's mission is to provide the public with articles that summarize accepted knowledge, written neutrally and sourced reliably. Readers expect to find neutral articles written independently of their subject, not corporate or personal webpages, or platforms for advertising and self-promotion. Articles should contain only material that complies with Wikipedia's content policies and best practices, and Wikipedians must place the interests of the encyclopedia and its readers above personal concerns.
- You must disclose whether you are a paid representative. You should also avoid directly editing articles related to your company, and limit your edits to that article in the form of edit requests on its talk page.
- We have little interest in what a company wishes to say about itself. All article content must be cited to reliable, published sources that are independent of the company. Company-authored primary sources are of little value other than sparing use to verify basic facts and figures (e.g. location, number of employees, etc.)
- You should also review Wikipedia:Ownership of content. No single editor has any rights of ownership or control over article content, particularly those associated with the article's subject. consensus is Wikipedia's fundamental editorial model, and any content disputes should be raised on the article talk page in a process of civil discussion and compromise. If that fails to resolve the disagreement, further dispute resolution measures are available. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 13:44, 17 March 2022 (UTC)
Your recent editing history at Admiral (gambling) shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.
Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly. . ~ ToBeFree (talk) 17:28, 18 March 2022 (UTC)- If this is a shared IP address and you are an uninvolved editor with a registered account, you may continue to edit by logging in.
This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
