Given the instructions still appear several years later, they have consensus. I suggest you look at User talk:65.255.138.2 and see what happened to another editor who thought it was acceptable to edit war and add "Decisive" against the instructions. FDW777 (talk) 15:52, 20 March 2021 (UTC)

@FDW777: so you are threatening a block. I don't get this - a rule (and not even a rule, a guideline in a template) that somebody decided to put because they felt that way, is being upheld as the supreme truth and being enforced with threats and blocks? Since it's now part of the guideline at WP:MILMOS#INFOBOX, it would be better off at that talk page. There is currently a discussion on that page neat the bottom. However attempting to change the current consensus is likely to be a waste of your time. There is little appetite for relighting many fires the instructions have helped to put out, nobody wants to waste large amounts of time in further endless debates across many arricles concerning whether a single word should be added to infoboxes.
