May 2017 edit

Hello, I'm Olidog. I noticed that you recently removed content from Bubsy 3D without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Bubsy 3D edit

Hi, I just wanted to make sure there wasn't any bad feeling between us after out editing conflicts over this article. Though we both remained civil throughout, there were moments where I confess I was assuming less than good faith of you, and if that came across at all in my tone I apologize. You added some great sourcing to this article and I think it's a lot better than it used to be thanks to both our efforts.--Martin IIIa (talk) 00:32, 17 April 2018 (UTC)Reply

I'm not being unconstructive. I'm just saying all superheroes are fictional, and there's no need to state that in the article. 172.250.44.165 (talk) 17:38, 3 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Neutral point of view & edit-war edit

Wikipedia content should be written from a neutral point of view, and should not express opinions. A reviewer is expected to make judgments and express opinions, but a Wikipedia editor needs to avoid doing so. Whether or not something "pretty much sums up the arc of [a] character" is a matter of personal judgment, and should not be stated as a fact in a Wikipedia article. Also, repeatedly restoring one's own preferred text to an article when others have reverted it, known as "edit-warring", is considered disruptive, and can lead to being blocked from editing. If you disagree with other editors about what should be in an article then explain your reasons and be prepared to discuss the matter on the article's talk page, rather than repeatedly restoring the version you prefer. Further information is in the policy on edit-warring. JBW (talk) 07:59, 11 October 2020 (UTC)Reply
