This is your only warning; if you vandalize Wikipedia again, as you did at USS San Francisco (SSN-711), you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Velma Larkin (talk) 05:19, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Velma, I did no such thing.
I corrected the article. Why would you accuse me of something I did not do?
Please relent. This is not what Wikipedia is for. 166.194.200.16 (talk) 05:26, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
I have restored your change. Velma is engaged in illegitimate vandalism reverts and tagging, and has been reported. Stefen 𝕋owers among the rest! Gab • Gruntwerk 05:48, 13 September 2024 (UTC)Reply

Allision vs Collision

edit

Hey!

Just noticed that you had changed collision to allision on a few submarine pages. While yes allision is a term for this. It is not in common usage, and collision is more suitable. In addition the sources used reference collision. It's needlessly "jargony" and the terms are used interchangeably.

Generally common terms should be used, given that Allision requires a link to admiralty law to be understood, it is not a common term. Basetornado (talk) 01:17, 28 September 2024 (UTC)Reply
