April 2024 edit

Hello, I'm ElENdElA. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions—specifically this edit to Iris Y. Martinez—because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Teahouse or the Help desk. Thanks. Iris Martinez infobox image edit

Hi IP 162.217.186.240. I've re-added the image you removed from the main infobox of the article Iris Martinez because the image seems fine from a copyright standpoint and it also still seem to have encyclopedic relevance to readers of the article. Even though the image may not be a current one of Martinex, it's still has value and there's not really a good reason to remove it from the article altogether. However, if Martinez or someone acting as her official representative would like to provide a more recent photo to use insteead, then that shouldn't be a problem. Such an image will need to be released on an acceptable free license (see c:Comons:Licensing for more on what this means) by its copyright holder in order to comply with Wikipedia's image use policy. If you've got anymore questions about how to do this, feel free to ask for assistance at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions or c:Commons:Village pump/copyright. Such an image should ideally be uploaded to Wikipedia's sister site Wikimedia Commons because it makes the image much more easier to use by others. -- Marchjuly (talk) 02:34, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
