Hans Rosling
editThanks for your interest in the project! I noticed you changed the date of death on the Hans Rosling article. The press release from gapminder says the 7th; can I ask where you found the 6th? Thanks! --TeaDrinker (talk) 19:33, 6 February 2018 (UTC)
I think this is how I reply? I've never done this before so I'm kinda confused as to how you're supposed to answer someone through this website.
Either way, it's pretty simple honestly - Hans Rosling died yesterday, yesterday was the 6th of February. That and pretty much every single news outlet in Sweden said that he passed away "earlier today" when they posted their articles y-day which again was the 6th.
Which means that somehow the people at Gapminder got it wrong, the 7th is today here in Sweden and he died yesterday.
It's a real shame too that he passed away. Not looking forward to the day that Stephen Hawking dies either, that's going to be a sad day for the scientific community. :(
- Sorry for the confusion, yes, that is how you reply. I was also saddened by Hans Rosling's passing; I have been a fan for many years. Perhaps, since it is relevant to the article (and won't be read by others here), let's move this discussion to Talk:Hans Rosling (just edit that talk page to reply; talk pages are used to discuss changes to articles). I will start a discussion there (and of course, do feel free to contribute). Thanks again! --TeaDrinker (talk) 13:30, 7 February 2018 (UTC)
