February 2024 edit

Please do not remove content or templates from pages on Wikipedia, as you did at Ruselectronics, without giving a valid reason for the removal in the edit summary. Your content removal does not appear to be constructive and has been reverted. If you only meant to make a test edit, please use the sandbox for that. Thank you. If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits referred to above, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so that you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Please stop. If you continue to blank out or remove portions of page content, templates, or other materials from Wikipedia without adequate explanation, as you did at Andrey Melnichenko (industrialist), you may be blocked from editing. This is not a business directory for sanctioned individuals with irrelevant information, nor a suppository for overly curious journalistic hacks who wish to keep things off their own personal computer at the expense of the privilege of .org status. The onus is this website to justify itself and the content it has, and the moderators to justify facilitating the removal of corrections and clarifications and content in support of meeting the site's obligations to not facilitate terrorism as you have repeatedly now been told. I will gladly take the matter further if you continue to abuse the public this way and in fact it may already be too late to get you out of the hot water. But hey, if Jesus can apologise whilst he's being nailed to a cross, then so can I. 148.252.146.215 (talk) 00:16, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

Talk:Russian Ground Forces edit

This website is WP:NOTAFORUM. If you wish to make comments to improve the text, back by WP:Reliable Sources, feel free to go ahead. Otherwise there are many other websites to chose from. Buckshot06 (talk) 09:27, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply

I have reverted your edits at the VDV page and at Defense industry of Russia. You need to focus on improving the encyclopedia, or, finding another website to contribute to. Buckshot06 (talk) 09:37, 21 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
Yes and it's getting reverted back if I feel like it. I have made my point now in the talk page. If you keep reverting perfectly good edits there will be consequences, as it shows you never read the article and are abusing mod status. 148.252.146.215 (talk) 01:20, 24 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
--->Copied from User talk:Buckshot06: :Thank you for your message 148.252.146.215. The point of my reverts was to encourage you to add text that made some WP:REFERENCED sense, that supported the WP:FIVEPILLARS aim of building the encyclopedia. Contacting a higher mod - well we call them WP:ADMINISTRATORs here - is a great idea. I used to be one, though I am trying to waste less time here and have more time in the real world. Nick-D my Australian friend *is* an administrator, but you are welcome to raise your concerns with my conduct with another person from the main administrator list, or make a post at WT:MILHIST. Often little edited articles' talk pages don't get much attention, so WT:MILHIST might be another idea. Kind regards Buckshot06 (talk) 01:45, 24 February 2024 (UTC)Reply
In regard to your specific concerns, I would encourage you to review the article history of Russian Ground Forces. I rewrote most of the article from 2006; raised it to WP:FEATUREDARTICLE status; most of the text still remains, and have been keeping the article updated with equipment changes since 24 February 2022. Your one sentence note on the talkpage did not appear to make sense. Either account as in description, that's the point of the page; or account as in owned by, well no, we work with WP:NPOV here and the Russian Ministry of Defence does not dictate what was written on the page.
