Synopsis edit

Money For Nothing: Inside the Federal Reserve examines the United States Federal Reserve, the world’s most powerful financial institution, to illuminate its effect on the economy and peoples’ everyday lives. Narrated by Liev Schreiber, Money For Nothing outlines the 100-year history of the Fed and exactly what led up to the 2008 financial crisis. Acclaimed economists, top Fed officials, and financial historians debate the decisions that led the global economy to the brink of collapse, and ask what’s next if Fed policy-makers continue to operate the way they have been - in a pattern of spending more than we produce.
