Pseudoscience edit

Hi, I noticed that you made a major revert at List of pseudosciences and pseudoscientific concepts based on the advice of a colleague at Columbia University.[1][2] Please be aware what that you are doing could potentially be a serious violation of Wikipedia policies. We currently have another editor, ScienceApologist (talk · contribs), whose access has been temporarily blocked entirely from Wikipedia because of longterm disruptive behavior.[3] I cannot tell you whether or not this editor is the same one that asked you to make the change, but since the change you made[4] was to revert the article to one of his versions,[5] this is a reasonable assumption. If this is the case, then the editor is guilty of block evasion and soliciting what we call a meatpuppet, and you might be sanctioned as well, for making edits on behalf of another editor, especially a blocked editor. My strong advice to you is to not make any other major changes to the "List of pseudosciences" article; however, you are welcome (and encouraged!) to participate at the talkpage, as you are already doing. The ideal way to proceed is to follow the steps in Wikipedia:Dispute resolution, and engage in good faith discussion at the talkpage to try and find a compromise which is in accordance with Wikipedia policies, and acceptable to the editors who are working on that page. Thanks, and let me know if you have any questions, --Elonka 17:47, 2 December 2008 (UTC)Reply

June 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. The recent edit that you made to the page Chinatown, Manhattan has been reverted, as it appears to be unconstructive. Please use the sandbox for testing any edits; if you believe the edit was constructive, please ensure that you provide an informative edit summary. You may also wish to read the introduction to editing for further information. Thank you. IronGargoyle (talk) 13:18, 29 June 2010 (UTC)Reply
