Hey! Jade here. Your section was so good and you have a very interesting topic! Overall, make sure that paragraphs are properly cited. Don't forget to change "attitudinal!"

Huancayo Article

edit

Some general suggestions I had were to add links to locations you mentioned in the Huancayo article. You could possibly strengthen this section if you had data to show the population growth from 1908 to the 1930's. After talking it through with Brent, I think it would be a great idea to rearrange your section, perhaps putting the more historical context in a different heading. That way, it's more organized and has structure. Really, the second paragraphs sound like it would go in the history section.

Malnutrition in Peru

edit

This section was very interesting to me, and I think it's going to make a great contribution to Wikipedia. A suggestion I had was to maybe make a separate Vasos de Leche Program Wiki page since it seems like there's a lot of information on that program for you to cite. That way, the management section can be cleaned up a bit, and people can just click on the link to learn more about the program. **SIDE NOTE** is it Vasos de Leche or CON Leche, because you wrote both!!! And also linking Vasos de/con Leche will make it less confusing for when you mention the other program, glass of milk. For the last paragraph, I suggest that you separate the two claims that you make, where scientifically, milk will not solve malnutrition, and socially, there are issues that need to be addressed. Make the first paragraph about the science, then the second about the social implications that need to come to light.

HOWEVER....

Possible new info you provided

edit

The three paragraphs you included are also really good! I was thinking that maybe the first paragraph could be a "environmental impacts on local food/cultural food" section, but the other two paragraphs go on to talking about milk and breastmilk. This is related to the Vasos de Leche Program and glass of milk program! It would be interesting to see how you could synthesize the two, if there are articles talking about breastmilk.

With that in mind, maybe the environmental impacts section isn't necessary to create. I mean maybe you can add it to another section, maybe before the management section that explains why the milk programs were introduced, but that's your call.

Happy editing! You got this! Jjgotshwifty (talk) 02:22, 17 March 2018 (UTC)Reply
