Edmund Allenby, 1st Viscount Allenby
editHi - Please do not keep adding "Sir" to the article on Edmund Allenby, 1st Viscount Allenby. He had been elevated to a peer and therefore it would no longer be appropriate to use the prefix "Sir". Look at Bernard Montgomery, 1st Viscount Montgomery of Alamein if you want an example of the correct treatment. Dormskirk (talk) 22:34, 19 December 2014 (UTC)

editHello, I'm Trafford09. I noticed that you recently removed some content from Tara Palmer-Tomkinson without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Also, please be sure to add a source for any new content that you add. Trafford09 (talk) 22:23, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

Hi there! Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia.
When editing Wikipedia, there is a field labeled "Edit summary" below the main edit box. It looks like this:
Edit summary (Briefly describe your changes)
I noticed your recent edit to Ty Burrell does not have an edit summary. Please be sure to provide a summary of every edit you make, even if you write only the briefest of summaries. The summaries are very helpful to people browsing an article's history.
Edit summary content is visible in:
- User contributions
- Recent changes
- Watchlists
- Revision differences
- IRC channels
- Related changes
- New pages list and
- Article editing history
Please use the edit summary to explain your reasoning for the edit, or a summary of what the edit changes. Thanks! Trafford09 (talk) 22:31, 23 December 2014 (UTC)

This is the discussion page for an IP user, identified by the user's IP address. Many IP addresses change periodically, and are often shared by several users. If you are an IP user, you may create an account or log in to avoid future confusion with other IP users. Registering also hides your IP address. |
