WikiProject Halloween
editHi there, glad to see your support of the idea! There isn't enough interest to make a full go before Halloween this year, but we can certainly start coordinating on topics!--otherlleft (talk) 20:22, 26 October 2008 (UTC)
Halloween
editThank you for your interest in WikiProject Halloween! There is now sufficient interest to create this fledgling WikiProject. Please visit the project page and sign up. There is not much to the page as yet, and your input in helping us focus our efforts and recruit new members will be invaluable!--otherlleft (talk) 18:19, 3 November 2008 (UTC)
I have started a discussion thread about getting the Halloween article up to FA status. Your comments and participation are most welcome.--otherlleft (talk) 17:02, 11 November 2008 (UTC)

I award you one for finding Trekphiler's page for people who always think that "new message" bar is real. Aren't you glad you answered the phone? And congratulations on your first find. TREKphiler hit me ♠ 21:00, 12 January 2009 (UTC) |
Re: Ref Desk Rich/Poor
editThank you for the comment! I have noticed the same thing, and am also trying to do the look-up. I wanted to use very plain English terms for the questioner which is why I used the words rich/poor in replying, but thought you were right that they needed to be defined. Only wish I could have found some non-academic or easier-to-read references! Cheers WikiJedits (talk) 02:43, 14 February 2009 (UTC)

Macabre mishaps at sea (literary?) - or otherwise
editThanks for the quick pickup, 10ddd! The account in the link you provided seems familiar, and I do read quantities of nonfiction (and quite haphazardly). I'm presently editing a text about the "Final Solution," Operation Reinhard, extermination camp Sonderkommando, etc. – so have been contemplating how people cope with extreme adversity and these fragments popped up, evidently from my subconscious. So I do appreciate the memory assist! -- Cheers back atcha, Deborahjay (talk) 17:12, 24 November 2009 (UTC)
- No problem. Looks like you are working on some rather interesting material. 10draftsdeep (talk) 15:13, 30 November 2009 (UTC)
