November 2018 edit

Hello, I'm LakesideMiners. I wanted to let you know that I reverted one of your recent contributions —specifically this edit to User talk:109.148.132.143— because it did not appear constructive. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you have any questions, you can ask for assistance at the Help Desk. Thanks. LakesideMinersMy Talk Page 19:55, 9 November 2018 (UTC)Reply

If this is a shared IP address, and you did not make the edits, consider creating an account for yourself or logging in with an existing account so you can avoid further irrelevant notices.

Advice on editing edit

  • Some of your editing seems to be well-intentioned, but out of line with Wikipedia standards. That is fully to be expected of a new editor with little experience of how Wikipedia works: I made similar mistakes when I started editing, and so did many other people. However, your editing of another IP talk page looks rather like vandalism, and you should avoid doing things like that again, as it could lead to getting blocked from editing by an administrator.
  • Wikipedia style is to use normal sentence case in section headings, rather than capitalising each word.
  • Before restoring any more edits that you have made and that one or more editors have reverted, pleased read Wikipedia's policy on edit-warring. Once again, you need to be aware of that policy, as otherwise you may be blocked from editing. The editor who uses the pseudonym "JamesBWatson" (talk) 21:02, 10 November 2018 (UTC)Reply
