Insulting other people on Wikipedia is never appropriate, not even if the other person is a blocked editor who has created hoax articles. See also WP:OUTING; even if you have personal information about another editor (where would you have gotten it?), you should not publish it on Wikipedia unless they did so themselves first. It doesn't matter whether they're an old man or a young girl; we judge them by the quality of their edits alone. Misrepresenting their age or gender is irrelevant to Wikipedia. @Huon: Can you show me a user or two who came on here with this kind of behavior and actually ended up making good contributions? You contribute a lot of good things on here. @Huon: The reason I asked is because I honestly want to see how Wikipedia, in your words, reforms vandals. What has to happen to accomplish something that I don't think can happen and you're telling me that, no, it's possible? I bet you didn't consider that your response was a passive-aggressive admission of error, but it does. If I'm wrong, show me.
