July 2020 edit

Hello, I'm SolarFlash. I noticed that you added or changed content in an article, Counterparts (album), but you didn't provide a reliable source. It's been removed and archived in the page history for now, but if you'd like to include a citation and re-add it, please do so. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. If you think I made a mistake, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. SolarFlashDiscussion 15:15, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

User:SolarFlash, I believe you are mistaken in your undoing of my edits. You stated that I added a "user-generated source" to Counterparts, but I didn't add any user-generated sources. I added Template:Album chart and Template:Certification Table Entry entries, which use official websites. I also rearranged reviews alphabetically. I am not sure if you saw this and thought that one of those reviews is a "user-generated" website, but I did not add any reviews, so if you have an issue with one of those sources, it was already there. I also noticed after that you undid my edit to Vapor Trails and you questioned "what was the point". What do you mean, what is the point of adding a chart table, arranging reviews alphabetically and removing flatlist formatting from infoboxes because it is outdated per Template:Infobox album? Please don't undo my edits without a valid reason. I am not here to vandalise. I contributed valid information. 1.43.96.157 (talk) 15:43, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
There are a couple of sources (cduniverse.com and dailyvault.com) that utilize user-submitted content, and that is not permitted. If you would have actually read my edit summary, I directed you to the guidelines that specifically cover this. So those sources will again be reverted, and if you choose to edit war further you'll be blocked from editing. Understod? SolarFlashDiscussion 16:33, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

User:SolarFlash, I did not add cduniverse.com or dailyvault.com. I don't see a review or content from cduniverse. I arranged a dailyvault.com review that was already there. I mainly added chart tables. Please don't threaten me when I did nothing wrong. Anyone can see this. 1.43.96.157 (talk) 16:36, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

Those sources have now been removed from the articles. Please don't edit war further over it. SolarFlashDiscussion 16:42, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

User:SolarFlash, you are implying that I added any of the review references when I did not. You can see that they were already there, and that I moved them around when I alphabetised them. I don't know why you are blaming this on me by saying that I was "edit warring" over them when I was not and you can already see they were present. This is a mean-spirited accusation. I never edit warred over their inclusion, I reverted you because you removed other valid contributions of mine. Thank you. 1.43.96.157 (talk) 16:45, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

I explained my revert very clearly via my edit summary [1]. Links are provided in my edit summaries, pointing my fellow editors to the relevant guidelines which support the edit I'm making. I do this in the hopes of avoiding superfluous disputes such as this one; consider reading the edit summaries before initiating a confrontation. I also provided a link above so you'd understand what edit-warring behavior is and recognize that you were doing it, but you seemingly ignored that too. An edit war only arises if the situation develops into a series of back-and-forth reverts, and that is what you were doing. So, yes, you did indeed edit war. But hopefully we're clear now. Enjoy your day. SolarFlashDiscussion 17:12, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply

User:SolarFlash, you are still blaming me for adding the Daily Vault source when it was already there. I explained that to you very clearly. Your initial revert of me was blaming me for something I did not do because you took a glance at my edit and thought I added the Daily Vault or whatever source when I only moved it into alphabetical order. You are more to blame here for undoing my edit wholesale when you took issue with a source that was already there before I edited the page. Please take responsibility for your actions as well. Hopefully we're clear on that too. 1.43.96.157 (talk) 17:18, 3 July 2020 (UTC)Reply
