Fighting vandalism

edit

If you are interested in protecting Wikipedia from vandalism (which is unavoidably quite common, considering Wikipedia's open nature) you can learn a lot about what types of vandalism are common and how to fight it at these pages: Wikipedia:Vandalism and Wikipedia:Counter-Vandalism Unit. I find this tool useful and convenient: User:Lupin/Anti-vandal tool. Hope this helps. --Ed (Edgar181) 16:52, 16 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Heinrich Himmler

edit

This is your last warning. The next time you vandalize a page, as you did to Heinrich Himmler, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. --Conrad Devonshire Talk 06:30, 31 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

That was a mistake Conrad, which Ozymandias rectified immediately. The real vandal is that IP I reverted. - Zepheus 06:34, 31 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Oh, I apologise then.--Conrad Devonshire Talk 06:38, 31 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

No prob. 0zymandias 06:40, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

I see that you're from Santa Cruz. I went to school in Santa Cruz, and lived there for 5 years. Nice place. - Zepheus 19:08, 31 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Your VandalProof Application

edit

Thank you for applying for VandalProof! (VP). As you may know, VP is a very powerful program, and in fact with the new 1.2 version release it has even more power. As such we must uphold strict protocols before approving a new applicant. Regretfully, I have chosen to decline your application at this time. The reason for this is that for security reasons, VandalProof's creator requires it's users to have made 250 edits to articles, which you have not. Please note it is nothing personal by any means, and we certainly welcome you to apply again in the not too distant future. Thank you for your interest in VandalProof. - Glen TC (Stollery) 06:40, 31 May 2006 (UTC)Reply
