Suspicious behavior

edit

Hello,

If you want to focus on actually editing on the project, you should stay away from suspicious behaviors like targeting another editor and nominating their work for deletion. It just serves to draw attention to you and cause other editors to review your contributions. If you focus on the work and not what other editors might be saying about you, it'll help you to last longer here as an editor. It's difficult to have no conflict editing on Wikipedia but you also don't want to draw a target on to yourself. You can eliminate a lot of this by not inviting trouble and just focusing on improving the project, not other contributors.

If you have questions about editing policy or Wikipedia culture, I recommend you bringing them to the Teahouse. Sometimes it's good just to get a second opinion. Liz Read! Talk! 06:15, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply

@Liz, I'm now wondering, why my nominations for deletion which I explained well got so irritation on behalf of the author and his/her friends? I consider those articles to be promotional and paid. Should I write about my suspicion on Teahouse or it's better to go to Admins noticeboard?
I would highly recommend going to Teahouse and taking their advice. AN is no place for an editor with only 98 edits. Valereee (talk) 15:07, 2 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
AN submittals can boomerang back on the applicant. David notMD (talk) 13:01, 5 September 2022 (UTC)Reply
@David notMD the problem was solved. the user I suspected of suspicious behaviour has been blocked recently.
Some of the Teahouse hosts are also Administrators, so a clearly worded description of a problem, with a link to an article in question and/or a problem editor, can trigger Admin action. David notMD (talk) 11:38, 11 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
@David notMD yes, I saw it. Teahouse is much better platform and the problems there are handled fast.

Other accounts?

edit

Hello, have you used any other accounts on here? It is quite unusual for a new editor to be prolific at AFD within 6 months of joining. Regards, MrsSnoozyTurtle 22:13, 19 November 2022 (UTC)Reply

no, I googled, watched youtube etc.
