Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. You appear to be repeatedly reverting or undoing other editors' contributions at Para (Special Forces). Although this may seem necessary to protect your preferred version of a page, on Wikipedia this is known as "edit warring" and is usually seen as obstructing the normal editing process, as it often creates animosity between editors. Instead of reverting, please discuss the situation with the editor(s) involved and try to reach a consensus on the talk page.

If editors continue to revert to their preferred version they are likely to lose their editing privileges. This isn't done to punish an editor, but to prevent the disruption caused by edit warring. In particular, editors should be aware of the three-revert rule, which says that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Edit warring on Wikipedia is not acceptable in any amount, and violating the three-revert rule is very likely to result in loss of your editing privileges.

Specifically, I am referring to these edits:[1][2]. — Vaibhavafro💬 04:53, 4 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

DS Alert edit

This is a standard message to notify contributors about an administrative ruling in effect. It does not imply that there are any issues with your contributions to date.

You have shown interest in India, Pakistan, and Afghanistan. Due to past disruption in this topic area, a more stringent set of rules called discretionary sanctions is in effect. Any administrator may impose sanctions on editors who do not strictly follow Wikipedia's policies, or the page-specific restrictions, when making edits related to the topic.

For additional information, please see the guidance on discretionary sanctions and the Arbitration Committee's decision here. If you have any questions, or any doubts regarding what edits are appropriate, you are welcome to discuss them with me or any other editor.

Categorization of pages edit

I noticed that you've been adding more categories to articles about Iranian weapons. Some of the categories you've added are parent categories of one or more categories already on the page. Example here, you added Category:Surface-to-air missiles and Category:Guided missiles of Iran to the article, but one of the existing categories, Category:Surface-to-air missiles of Iran, is already in both of those categories, therefore the categories you added are redundant. - ZLEA T\C 15:21, 24 May 2020 (UTC)Reply

Noor (rocket) edit

June 2020 edit

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing for copyrights violations, again. I will need some pretty strong assurances that you will adhere to Wikipedia's policy on copyrights if you are to be unblocked. You need to write your own original prose rather than rely on the prose written by others, and you need to demonstrate you understand this imperative.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.

In order to lift the block, we need to be certain that you understand how copyright works on Wikipedia. To allow the reviewing administrator to assess your understanding, please respond to the following questions in your next unblock appeal, explaining in your own words:

  • What is copyright?
  • How is Wikipedia licenced?
  • Why is copyrighted content not allowed on Wikipedia?
  • Under what circumstances can we use copyrighted content?
  • How do you intend to avoid violating the copyright policy in the future?

Your answers will enable us to establish whether or not you should be unblocked. Yamla (talk) 13:49, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

I'm really, really concerned about your claim that the consensus wasn't reached until June 5. Copyright violations place the entire project in jeopardy and you need to be absolutely certain there's no copyright concern with your edits. If there's any doubt, any doubt at all, you need to not make the edit. It was inappropriate of you to make the edit on June 3rd, and you need to convince us you thoroughly understand this. If you provide satisfactory answers to the questions above, I'll discuss with the blocking administrator whether we can lift the block, but frankly your prior unblock request substantially counts against you. --Yamla (talk) 13:54, 7 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I will give the answers of all five questions plus explanation for the additional doubts raised. Copyright is a sort of intellectual property with which the owner has an exclusive right to reproduce, sell, modify and share a literary, musical or artistic work which is called a creative work. When it comes to Wikipedia's licencing wikipedia is licenced under the CC BY-SA 3.0 and the GFDL,the CC BY-SA 3.0 permits one to share the material as well as derive content from it even for commercial purposes as long as the content derived from the original has the same licence as the original and it gives credit to the original producer. The GFDL is a licence that grants copyleft rights similarly, works licenced with this can be used in any way as long as the previous author is provided attribution, the previous licence is maintained, changes must be recorded. Wikipedia having its database servers in the United States is subject to the copyright laws of the United States, nevertheless violation of the Online Copyright Infringement Liability Limitation Act can get the entire Wikimedia project in serious trouble, wikipedia itself intends to be a source of free content. Wikipedia uses copyrighted content only if it abides by Fair use and not closely paraphrased, wikimedia commons only accepts images which allow distribution and sharing, commercial use and derivation of new content from the original. Wikipedia itself prefers the use of free content, content which has less strict copyright restrictions. Non-free content is used on Wikipedia with limited exceptions only on non-article pages that are usually just reviews to question the non-free content. In the future I intend to avoid copyright violations by using multiple sources while creating an article and reviewing the licence of wikimedia commons images before using them. If you doubt that the consensus was reached before 5 June then compare the conclusion with the arguments that were initially written to get the image deleted, the argument questioned the sources being original while the conclusion cited American copyright laws. My intent on that edit was of anti-vandalism as it was an extended protected page already subject to discretionary sanctions which is why such actions need to be reverted before the consensus is formally reached, my edit was not an addition but rather a revertسب سے بڑی گڑبڑ(talk) 03:30, 9 June 2020 (UTC)Reply

Non-free content,i.e content that cannot be distributed, derived or used for any purpose even commercial is not allowed on Wikipedia.
