Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes.
Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better.
When you're ready, read about Your first article. It should be about something well-known, and it will need references.

Hi, I notice you've changed a number of articles to say they are both unsourced and poorly sourced. This is somewhat contradictory and risks confusing newbies and readers of these articles. Tagging an article as poorly sourced and explaining why with either a self published, primary sources or single source tag can prompt the author or others to improve the sourcing of the article. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve.
