Edits by user tool finds 0 results for IPv6

I'm getting zero results searching for an IPv6 user's edits, who definitely has at least one edit at an article:

  • user=2600:8803:f303:ca00:f8e1:e408:d46d:5083
  • page=Chin_people
  • Db=enwiki
  • search link

But: see Chin people rev. 1016945447 (diff). Thanks, Mathglot (talk) 19:58, 20 February 2023 (UTC)

(talk page watcher) @Mathglot: You need to uppercase the IP address. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 22:11, 20 February 2023 (UTC)
Redrose64, Thank you very much for that; that solves my issue. But since I pasted it directly out of a rev history page, it's very likely that other users will do the same for the foreseeable future. It would make the tool more robust if IPv6 addresses were upper-cased to accept that entry. I understand that user ids are case sensitive, and perhaps it is rev history that ought to be changed (though I imagine that's a bigger effort), but in any case, if our own tools display it that way, surely we should be able to handle it that way in this (and any other) tool we link to. Speedy deletion nomination of Template talk:Chem2/Archive 5

A tag has been placed on Template talk:Chem2/Archive 5 requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

G6 Bot created this page instead of archiving to Archive 1 or creating Archive 2. Too early for Archive 5 when Archive 2-4 don't exist and Archive 1 is far from being full/large. Noming for del as not needed yet.

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, pages that meet certain criteria may be deleted at any time.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here. To clarify, the bot archived 12 conversations from Template talk:Chem2 on March 1st, 2023 and moved them to Archive 5. Archive 1 was nearly empty (1 conversation), and Archives 2-4 don't exist, so parking them at Archive 5 is a little bizarre and just too soon. Zinnober9 (talk) 23:20, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
(talk page watcher) @Zinnober9: First off, lowercase sigmabot III is a bot and does exactly what it's told to. The cause of your problem is this edit which set |counter=5 and not |counter=1. Unless that is fixed, the next archiving action will send threads to Template talk:Chem2/Archive 5 once again. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 23:44, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
Ah, thank you. Hadn't found where that knowledge was, if it was automated or a manual bot assisted thing. I've adjusted it to |counter=1 with your help and hope that works. Cheers, Zinnober9 (talk) 23:51, 4 March 2023 (UTC)
@Zinnober9: For reference, the documentation on those parameters can be found here. — voidxor 15:56, 6 March 2023 (UTC)
