Crash in editorinteract.py

This only happens intermittently, but I've seen it a few times. -- RoySmith (talk) 20:46, 4 March 2021 (UTC)

500 You shouldn't be seeing this page. Please report this to User:Σ on enwp. Include the current URL and the text below in your report. If you do not include this information, then there is nothing I can do to help. (talk page stalker) @Emigré55: Your start date has the wrong format; it should be "20200801" instead of "202000801". — The Earwig (talk) 13:24, 15 March 2021 (UTC)

Username with a Greek Letter

How did you come up with a Sigma symbol as your username??? 108.88.82.1 (talk) 02:26, 8 April 2021 (UTC)

My previous username had a question mark in it, which made it a pain in the neck to type in the URL bar, since a question mark in a URL has a special meaning. So a URL leading to my userpage would erroneously look like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Σ?action=history . When in reality, I'd need it to look like this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Σ%3Faction=history .
As for the choice of a sigma, I just wanted a single character username, and the Latin alphabet was already taken. Σσς(Sigma) 10:00, 9 April 2021 (UTC)

Archiving bot edit summaries

Hi Σ! An idea for lowercase sigmabot: when archiving discussions, I think it'd be helpful if, rather than just using the edit summary e.g. "Archiving 1 discussion(s) to User talk:Σ/Archive 47) (bot)", it instead named the discussion. That's more important than the archive name, really, which could just be linked. So we'd have instead e.g. "Moving 'Archiving bot edit summaries' discussion to archive (bot)". For archiving multiple discussions or discussions with really long titles it'd still have to be e.g. "Moving 4 discussions to archive (bot)" to avoid an overly long edit summary, but for the 1-discussion archiving (which I think is probably most common anyways), would it be possible to look into this? Cheers, {{u|Sdkb}}talk 22:14, 26 April 2021 (UTC)

Talk:LGBT rights by country or territory

why does User:lowercase sigmabot III keep archiving the iraq section in Talk:LGBT rights by country or territory?--79.180.252.83 (talk) 18:20, 29 April 2021 (UTC)

Because it's more than seven days old. Whilst on that matter, reverting an edit where a bot archived an old thread needs to be done properly - it's not sufficient to restore the thread to the main talk page, you must also remove it from the archive where there are now two copies, and in a few hours time (when the bot next visits that page) there will be three. --Redrose64 🌹 (talk) 18:36, 29 April 2021 (UTC)
