Thank You for the Welcome!

Hello! Thank you very much for kindly welcoming me to Wikipedia. Thank you for linking those helpful items. I look forwards to editing alongside you and other Wikipedians. :-) D. Y. B. (Abdul Wadud) (talk) 13:47, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

CSD opposed

Hello, I saw that you tagged Redneck-Asian as an attack page. I disagreed and removed the tag. I have prodded instead, if the prod is removed, we'll go on ahead to AfD. Regards, Phearson (talk) 02:10, 8 March 2011 (UTC)

I see that the same thing happened with Us airways flight 2025. You should probably review the process for WP:PROD, which is very simple and much less WP:BITEy to newcomers.
Your CSD for Asphalt (series) was also declined, and Good Land Records was the wrong CSD criteria. That's four out of the five pages you sent to CSD today. Ernie Dunston is the only one that hasn't been changed—yet, and I expect it to be declined, since "Hall of Fame" is likely to be taken as a credible claim of importance.
Please try to be more careful with your CSD nominations, and to use less-speedy processes whenever they might be more appropriate. WhatamIdoing (talk) 05:25, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
Okay. I shall keep that in mind. --43?9enter (talk) 05:44, 8 March 2011 (UTC)
And what do you know now, 5/6 have been deleted! 43?9enter (talk) 23:26, 29 March 2011 (UTC)

Re: Troll

Autoblock has been employed on each block of this user; he is simply swapping proxies to bypass it. I'm not terribly concerned, though. It takes him a lot more time to set up a new proxy and resume his mischief than the three clicks it takes to block him. He'll stop whenever he finally puts two and two together and realizes that. - Vianello (Talk) 06:17, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

Ah. Dang it, I was hoping to get double-digit vandalism on my user page in one day! 43?9enter (talk) 06:21, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
Aw, sorry. If he still hasn't figured it out and comes around again, I can delay the block a bit if he hits your page first. - Vianello (Talk) 06:23, 10 March 2011 (UTC)

You might have just noticed that I reverted your revert of vandalism. It was a total accident (and I reverted), because that rollback button is so easy to press accidentally. Thanks. Jsayre64 (talk) 15:29, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

You seem to have missed my sarcasm in the last post. I obviously do not think that women are unreliable and hysterical. In fact, I thnk we are rather more reliable than men like you who are dependent on the say-so of other white males for something to enter your mind as "true". Was 4chan also a woman of colour, I wonder? Or just another Wikipedian who didn't realize that their experiences -- and the experiences of a thousand of their brethren -- are worth less than that of one white male? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Mandatory Sex Party (talkcontribs) 22:56, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Is there any more effective way, when I am stopped from confining it to a single article?

Black British revert

Hi. I had some concerns myself about the edits made to Black British, but I think the edit summary of your revert is a bit misplaced. I think the edits were clearly in good faith and not vandalism. You might want to explain your revert to the editor in question, especially since they are new and might be confused about what happened. Cordless Larry (talk) 23:51, 12 March 2011 (UTC)

Hi. On a technical note this collection of fancruft was actually not eligible for speedy deletion per db-repost since it hasn't been the subject of a deletion discussion as in WP:AfD. It had only been speedily deleted and/or prod-deleted before and such reposts can't be speedily deleted. That said I would rather speed it up too. De728631 (talk) 01:38, 13 March 2011 (UTC)

Blanking talk pages

Hi. Re this edit: users, even IP users, are allowed to blank warnings, even block notices, from their talk pages. It is taken as meaning that they have read them. There are a few exceptions like declined unblock requests, listed at WP:BLANKING. It's generally best not to revert a user's edits on his own talk page, as it can lead to unnecessary edit-wars and ill feeling. Once a vandal has been blocked, don't rattle his cage, just ignore him, per WP:RBI. Regards, JohnCD (talk) 20:55, 20 March 2011 (UTC)

Stir Crazy (film)

I don't think that the edit you performed at Stir Crazy (film) here [1] was really reverting vandalism. I see you're using STiki, maybe it mis-identified. I think you've removed valid commentary. Echoedmyron (talk) 02:41, 21 March 2011 (UTC)

Just a FYI; on pages such as Choir Class Rebellion, G4 wouldn't apply. G4 only applies when the article has been deleted via a deletion discussion and the content was closely related to the previous content. In this case, the page was only deleted via speedy deletion. Reviewer granted

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged revisions, underwent a two-month trial which ended on 15 August 2010. Its continued use is still being discussed by the community, you are free to participate in such discussions. Many articles still have pending changes protection applied, however, and the ability to review pending changes continues to be of use.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under level 1 pending changes and edits made by non-reviewers to level 2 pending changes protected articles (usually high traffic articles). Pending changes was applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

For the guideline on reviewing, see Wikipedia:Reviewing. Being granted reviewer rights doesn't grant you status nor change how you can edit articles even with pending changes. The general help page on pending changes can be found here, and the general policy for the trial can be found here.

If you do not want this user right, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Dabomb87 (talk) 14:16, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

Thanks! But just to let you know, I never was aware of the existence of "Reviewer" until now. Therefore I shall read the guides. 43?9enter (talk) 23:38, 25 March 2011 (UTC)

My party

It's hard to describe my party. I would refer to myself as a Republican-Democrat. I try to balance things and make sure I'm not going overboard on any descicons. Any futher questionsSodins (talk) 01:33, 26 March 2011 (UTC)? Sodins 3/25/11

In my veiw there is no such thing as a perfect economical system. Instead, if you mind I will give my opinion on each sytem I now of. Captialism- Helps people profit and go higher in life. Sometimes people take advantage though and treat others as inferiors. Its a good system but can become corrupt. Socialism- Sometimes the poor will most liekly never rise to power. Therefore this sytem tries to make everyone equal. There are those however that do not deserve the money. Some not all are lazy and won't work for anything. I'm not trying to say Socialism is bad hearted. In my opinion it's intentions are noble but still it is not possible. Communism- This goes a stpe further. Communism as we have seen ruined the country of Russia. It led to the same problem they where tryig to get rid of having a master. The Soveit Union banned hundreds of books and they tolerated very little critizism. The only reason I think that the people in Russia followed it was because they came late to the world's ideas. The feudal system (one I don't agree with) ended in the 1890's! They where supressed. One of my favorite novels Doctor Zhivago showed the crimes of the Whites and Reds. It was afull. I don't think people can establish a Utopia without it crumbling. We live in a imperfect world and so it would be bond to end quickly. Thanks for the great question (sorry if I extended it) Sodins (talk) 01:48, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Sodin 3/25/11

Your Response

I thank you for your agrument. You know what you are dealing with. I saw that you are a Christian, and so am I. They only one thing as you know is that in Communism people will be corrupt, it's a human tendency. Now by close to the same amount of pay please give me an estimant. I have been trying to thinks of a Capitalist-Socialist society. One where people are kep from gaining power and treating people as idiots, while people can thrive on what they earn. It's hard, it's earth. People can not be perfect on earth. That's why a utopia would crumble. Now thank you for your thoughts. Also why was Hitler a claimed "Socialist" and yet he killed thousands of people. I like that you are not radical and don't start shoving stuff in my face. If you ever write a book or essay regarding the issue I would be most intrested. I will probably be on Wikipedia weekends and during certain breaks if you have one more comment for the day please leave it and I will read itSodins (talk) 02:14, 26 March 2011 (UTC). Sodins 3/25/11

About the system

I don't know when you'll get this but I see how your system works. People work hard and get coins based off what is needed the most. If the person doesn't want to pull his weight he wouldn't coins for mabye more luxirous material items and other rich foods. If a man works hard enough he can get coins good for books, mabye nice sweets and other goods. Also I think that most people are driven by materialism and entertainment. Theses coins would be the hardest to get that way people work hard and could earn more stuff. Now it would be based on the efficency and time the person spends on his/her job. The only area that can becaome a little scary is the educator's. Teachers can be really good and go through all the lessons and get every paper and grade in on time but some students could be a bit lazy. It would have to be evaluated. The only thing I fear if we have to evaluate very closely it might lead to totalitarianism. Everyone has a different idea how a perfect world should be run. Utopias can mess up because it is a group of individuals who have thought of what perfect is to others. Also a little side note people should be able to trade luxirious coins. If one man perfers coins for coffee and another one, wine they should be able to trade. This way people will be forced to work hard and gain stuff from that. There should also be a special orginization different form the Uninon that helps the poor find jobs and education. Our government is too big, we would uses those extra people to in fact start this. There are jos also in the U.S. that I consider worthless. Mabye if they where persuaded they would start this orginaztion and that way the poor would be able to work himself up. There should be private property also. We would also make it harder for hate groups to get luxury coins. Therefore they would grow smaller in size and their popularity would decrease. There are two major problems in this though, one how will the united states trade with other countries and two how would this system come into place without a whole bloddy Russian Revolution happening again? Thank you for your information. Please tell me any of your ideas I would love to hear them.Sodins (talk) 16:02, 26 March 2011 (UTC)Sodins 3/26/11 P.S. do you know French?

Response

I do like the way you look at it. Everybody has to work and will gain from however hard they work. In this ecologicasl system, whatever you refer to it as ther must be the freedoms that people currently have. Private property, rewards for working hard, and freedom of religion, speech, and to critize this sytem. As long as we're not controlling everybody like in Russia or Cuba. Also worthless jobs would be mostly in our government. When Jefferson became president he had the government to just the right size. Though Madison had several Federalists in high places and this sort of messed things up. Your system I think is different from Communism because it does not make all men eqaul like when the revlutionaries where helping the Proles to make their lives "better" while the sat around in carpeted rooms full of paintings and all the wine they wanted. It differs from Socialism because the rich do not have their welt distrubuted if they continued to work hard. a good book I think you should read is Doctor Zhivago by Boris Pasternak (if you haven't already read it) and The Jungle by Upton Sinclair which I'm sure you've read. Thanks for the discussion it may carry on far. SodinsSodins (talk) 22:27, 27 March 2011 (UTC) 3/26/11

Response

Well I think that when you start to censor some stuff critizing government people become irritated. I wouldn't think people should be spittin ranting activist or conspirasy theroists. I think that stuff is a waste of time in ones life. But books that don't agree with us should be able to be open to the public. The Capitalist nation is not banning the Communist Manifesto or The Jungle because it talks about Socialism. I think it would be free for men not to be in agreement of the system. Also we must understand there is no Utopia on earth. Remeber if men is not free he is not living. He becomes a puppet that runs through life with no purpose. I however believe that advirtisiment is a great evil. It influences man to be what he is not. I'm sure people we know are not wearing the clothes because they fill like it they where because it is everyone's descion. Man must be his own. God gave him a right to be living and he must live! The book I'm reading Atlas Shrugged is good in the way it shows how man is destoryed by his peers. I think Rand's philosophy is selfish but the thought about men's choices is a great example of how his soul is being lived for him. We must guard against him losing his individualism. If you read the book of Revalations you will see how the anti-christ will control everything people read, watch and teach. Please know that mabye mild censorship could be okay but someone will come along and rewrite history and make man believe what he wants it to. Thank you for this talk your one of the few intellectuals who can challenge me to think.Sodins (talk) 02:18, 29 March 2011 (UTC)Sodins 3/25/11 P.S. this is random but what kinds of music do you like?

About Utopia

Now I see what it is like. If people get too rich it would be distributed to the less unfortunate, there is only one thing that I veiw as mabye not the best. If a man who is working hard enough to get his labour coins who would iit be given to? Somebody who is working just as hard or mabye not as hard? I think it should be as if people get the labour coins they need mosty like food and water. Then a he could be rewarded with luxury coins that give him the access to a movie or a book. It would be like a universal library and movie store where he could go get a movie for a few of these coins and watch it for mabye a week? If he wanted a book he could get it for some labor coins, it would then be rented to him for a certain time depending on how long the book is for example it would be less leasing time for a comic then it would for War and Peace. a man could mabye only own electronics. It would be hard becuse then people might mess up a certain book because they figure it is just a book from this library. This would force people to treat movies, electronis and books well. Now if it's been 8 years and the book is falling apart it might mean it's time for a new book. Now in this "utopia" is what I would consider a realistic utopia which acknowledges that man will never be perfectly moral on earth. Therefore it is trying to make the world better but not perfect. While the U.S. is making this transaction you would have to have philosophers and politicians. This would be a hard transaction because the worst form of pure capitalism is not the business owners who are doing it for a living or men prospecting gold it is the food industry. Yes we would have to topple the giant which would be hard. Tell me how you would think this would be possible? Also if a man went prospecting during realistic utopia and he fines a gold mine then what? See right now I've been fasinated with the Lost Dutchman Gold mine right now so I'm wondering what would happen if they found a gold mine? Sodins (talk) 02:25, 30 March 2011 (UTC)Sodins 3/29/11

Labour and Luxury coins

Well it would be like this a man works hard therefore he gets labour coins which are good for water, soup, other foods that provide all the man needs. Then the government would take a poll on whatever a man liked to have in his house. One might perfer wine over coffee therefore after he worked to the degree of earing all his labour coins, ex. he must work at his job for four hours he would get all the labour coins he needs to keep his family healthy. Then if he wanted to work 7 hours he will start to earn luxury coins which should justt be run on 5 coins equal a movie for a week or 10 coins for a two ipad. Therefore if men wanted luxury he would have to work harder which would strenghten the economy. People would be equal and happy with the system. Note that I don't watch all the movies on the self at the same time. Therefore man would have the things he want for the time it takes for him to consume it. About thew food industry. I think it would be hard to take them down but I think the first step is the governments plan. They must stop paying for corn and start paying for sugar. This would rapidly decrease the surplus of corn they feed the cows and turn to grass. It's better for you anyways and I think if the USDA raised their standards by the time this "Realistic Utopia" was in place they could no longer make the millions of dollars they already make. Therefore the businesses should look for the best intrest of the people. If they don't raise their standards people will not like what they are continuing to do. They will petition for a new food company run by men of our thinking. That will scare these men who know nothing but luxury would be forced to raise their standards. Then there's option two which is a revolution. Sodins (talk) 23:16, 30 March 2011 (UTC)3/30/11
