Help edit

{{help me}}

I would like some assistance on how to shift all userboxes and service awards to the right hand side of my page, so it doesn't become cluttered, please, along with being shown how to add a box at the top of my talk page that says "Please click here to leave me a message." If I could be helped out, I would be most grateful.

Hi! You can align your service award like this: {{Registered Editor|align=right}}.
You can integrate your java skills into the babel box like this: {{Babel|en|fr-4|hr|java-2}}.
Or you can align a list of userboxes following the instructions listed here.
Also you could use {{new message}} for the messages. Happy editing! benzband (talk) 13:16, 29 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Hi there,

I am new, and don't really feel qualified to edit any articles, in case they get frowned upon. I feel a little intimidated. If someone could help me out a little bit, and ease some of this anxiety, I'd be most grateful. ÉpéeArgent (talk) 10:32, 28 August 2012 (UTC)Reply

Don't be. As long as your intentions are to improve Wikipedia, you're unlikely to run into trouble. Mistakes can be reverted pretty quickly and nothing ever gets lost on Wikipedia so you won't be breaking anything. Try starting with minor edits like correcting spelling and whatnot, you'll gain more confidence as you gain more experience. And don't hesitate to ask other editors for help in case you run into problems. I have also added a welcome template into this page which also includes the most basic policies of Wikipedia. And lastly, please read WP:Be bold.-- OBSIDIANSOUL 11:44, 28 August 2012 (UTC)Reply
