Hello, truename not given due to Wikipedia's terrible privacy standards. I'm a sometime artist, lover of history in general, oceanography and marine biology.

Don't expect me to get into any page-editing flamewars. If I make changes, they're liable to be little things I don't expect to be controversial, and if my initial reasoning is overturned I'll likely just shrug and move on.

Probably the most controversial thing I will do is occasionally point towards what appears to me to be a good resource whose provenance Wikipedia considers 'contributory infringement' as I sometimes feel the merit of the content or the nature of its provenance makes it less problematic. As a 'feeling', it's a subjective thing, truly, so feel free to take me up on it.

Practice happy Wiki. Lots of people treat the Wikipedia as a 'definitive' online reference, for all that it is user-created content. What you write here influences much of the world today. Be responsible, please!
