J555 Wikipedia Editing Assignment

For this assignment, I edited the entry for Motor Trend magazine. I added a section and read through the rest.

Quality - The quality of the content on the page is good. The slight problem, however, is with the notable omissions of Truck Trend and Motor Trend Classic. There's no mention of these two offshoots of Motor Trend magazine, though that has been fixed. Additionally, the photo is of the November 2004 issue. After becoming an autoconfirmed user, I was permitted to post the February 2010 magazine cover image from the top left of this page.

References - There are only three references and six external links. Given the brief content, there's nothing wrong with this.

Neutrality - The only potentially unsubstantiated claim for the magazine is that the awards Motor Trend gives are covered by the mainstream press as the most important distinction in the American auto industry. While there is some truth to this assertion, more data could help support it.

Discussions - There have been few discussions about this wikipedia entry. The history shows that changes have been included on a sporadic basis and the last real discussion was in 2004.
