הוא שמורת הטבע הגדולה ביותר בזימבבואה.
שוכן במערב המדינה, על הכביש הראשי בין בולוואיו Bulawayo לעיר התירות "מפלי ויקטוריה".

כדי להגיע לשמורה מ"מפלי ויקטוריה" יש לנסוע כמאה ק"מ על כביש A8
