Yumadome started out as my forum name while we were learning about and preparing to build our expanded family home using a monolithic dome style structure. I've retained the use of it in many things online, games, forums, you name it, it's probably me that it's referring to!
I'm very new to Wikipedia so if I'm not following proper format here, please feel free to squeeze this into the right look.
Our home was built to house our extended family, four generations worth. We talked about building several homes on the same chunk of property vice one large one and finally settled on one big building subdivided into suites for each of us. We have a large common area with kitchen, tv rooms, etc, and my favorite, a large atrium with large windows giving us a view of the valley below us. It has turned out to be the greatest accomplishment and most work of anything I have ever done. My nickname of Yumadome came to be associated with the building itself and in the dome community has come to designate our dome home here in Yuma, AZ.

I keep hoping I'll make the time to update it with some current pictures and maybe more description of what led up to the building of it.
