I am a Biochemistry undergrad at Northeastern University in Boston, MA working on a project for an advanced writing course. My goal is to use research I've gathered for a literature review to add to the encyclopedia, specifically I will be editing the Histone deacetylase inhibitor page to add information on recent research exploring possible use for these compounds in the treatment of depression. I will be adding a a new section under "Uses - Psychiatry and Neurology" which describes pre-clinical research on rodent models of depression and how they respond to treatment with HDAC inhibitors.
