i am an editor and writer living in Toronto, Canada
i studied languages (french, italian, english) at the University of Ottawa, and journalism (print) at Conestoga College
i am curious about words and language, their shapes in our mind, their usage, their power, their ability to spark and extinguish ideas and lives

i have worked as a freelance or full-time editor since 1996
my freelance work includes substantive copy editing for small publishing houses, proofreading for trade magazines, and writing and editing for several Canadian print publications
i am currently working as an editor and publications manager for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)
