Why are you in this empty white void known as Year0ld's userpage?
You recently reverted my minor edit to the Elijah Mohammed Wiki article, but you neglected to state “why”, as is both common and expected (and as I did in the edit you reverted). I see that you are relatively new to Wikipedia, so I fully understand. I also understand that you might have a valid reason for reverting my edit but... as you didn’t state same, I have no way of knowing what that might be. But, I can further explain my justification for deleting the honorific “most honorable”. To simplify a somewhat complex topic, “honorifics” such as “sir” or “lord” or “Commodore” or “honorable” are universally understood; as they have historical and current-day meaning. And, although within the U.S. (free speech) one may give themselves an unjustified title (Doctor, Colonel, Esquire, etc.) that isn’t either deserved or valid, it isn’t appropriate in Wiki. So, as I stated in my edit, a sentence in the narrative speaking to his desire to be addressed as such would certainly be appropriate. However, to use it as it is currently is to devalue all of those who were legitimately awarded this “honorific”. Feel free to respond on my page or the Elijah Mohammed “talk” page. Oh, I see. I felt that it was a bit of an act of racism, and that's a bit of a big statement when I look at it now. Mr. Muhammad was a big contributor in African-American history, so I felt that he really is honorable.
