editDecember 8th international meetup
editLet's organize the first international meetup in South Europe! (see here for main discussion at French Wiki).
The Fête des lumières, one of France's most famous festivals, takes place in Lyon every year during the December 8 weekend (Saturday 6 - Monday 8) so it wouldn't only be a "let's talk Wiki" meetup, Otourly and other Wiki-Lyonnaises would introduce everyone that wants to have a good time to Lyon and its most popular event.
Programme
editDates: Saturday, December 6—Monday, December 8 (for the brave ones)
- Guided tour's itinerary: to define.
- There will be a lot of walking involved, so provide for comfortable shoes that won't hurt your feet.
- Bring your cameras because you'll get to see a panoramic view of Lyon at night.
- Lyon is (according to Wikipedia) the French capital of gastronomy so no worries about finding a good cheap restaurant.
Attention the Fête des lumières is a big event that attracts tourists from all over the world.
