Industrial and organizational (I-O) psychology involves the application of the methods, facts, and principles of the science of psychology to people at work.[1]

The Wikipedia Project

The main purpose of the project is to enhance Wikipedia articles pertaining to I-O psychology, with information from academic journal articles. The other reasons for this project are:

  • To learn I-O Psychology content
  • To develop writing skills
  • To develop an understanding of crowdsourcing
  • To reflect upon the value of Wikipedia
  • To reflect upon our ability to create knowledge
  • To develop self-directed planning and follow up [2]
