Unity and Strength of the Filipinos Surpasses Utmost Tribulation edit

[1]According to Merriam-Webster Dictionary, ¨utmost¨ means the greatest or highest in degree, number or amount, and the most extreme while ¨tribulation¨ is an experience that causes someone to suffer; distress, experience pain and unhappiness.

¨Bayanihan¨ is just one of the best example of the unity and strength of the Filipinos. This shows the harmony of the Filipinos and being helpful to others even they have no relation, just like they do when others are in need especially in times of calamities.

Unity in nation is very essential because it occur when politicians and government officials are opposing each others point of view when solving a particular issues especially when a country is experiencing crisis. People tend to disregard their differences and work together for them to show love for their country just like what Filipino did. Even they have many discrepancy, they choose to be united as one for them to pass any suffering and hardship they encountered. Filipino is also known for their strong characteristics which helped them to cheer up and be optimistic during the struggles and pain.

We know that the Filipinos in the past experienced many tragedy like wars, invasion, and revolution.their human rights had been trampled and violated. they cannot even state their opinion but even they experienced those hardships, their faith and unity remain. They fight for their right and sacrifice their lives just for us to attain freedom.

Filipinos have an ability to survive which had been manifested in our capacity for endurance despite of difficult times in our ability to get by on so very little. Filipinos make do with what is available in the environment. This survival instinct is related to the Filipinos other strengths; a basic optimism, flexibility and adaptability, hard work, and a deep faith in God. It is manifested in the millions of Filipinos who bravely live through the harmful economic and social circumstances.

[2]According to Manuel L. Quezon, National strength can only be built on character. A nation is nothing more nor less than its citizenry. We are responsible in building our nation. We may have flaws but in the end Filipinos are united. Their weaknesses is its failure and their strength is power. Our ancestors did everything to attain freedom. Filipino in the past is more united than now, they have moral strength, power of growthfrom our ancestors and bravery but the Filipino today are very different. We must revive our rea characteristics like molave, strong and resilient, because even they encounter many struggles they stay humble, strong and united.

In conclusion, the unity of the nation before was extraordinary despite of the problem and national issues. Their capacity for being hardworking give to raise one standard for living a decent life for one family. They also have faith in God and they are respecting each other especially in times of calamity and hurt but most of the Filipinos today have lost their unity and respect to one another because of selfishness. The Filipino today is easy going and they are lack of effort. The nation emerge victorious from trials. The nation will live forever.
