I am a student at Washington University in St.louis, majoring in Biology. My hometown is Nanjing, China, but now I live in St.louis and I really enjoy the life here. I am interested in a wide variety of subjects, including but not limited to sciences. Up to the present, my research interest is in the field of ecology and microbiology. I am currently working at the Strassmann and Queller lab in Washington University in St. Louis under the supervision of Longfei Shu. My current research project focuses on the local adaptation of Dictyostelium discoideum and the effect of its interaction with bacteria on heat tolerance. Additionally, prior joining the Strassmann and Queller lab, I also participated a research in the field of ecology and microbiology at Nanjing Forestry University, studying the influence of water pollution on microbial communities in the downstream part of the Yangtze River
