Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Kochi (abbreviated as XIME - K) is a Premier business school of India located in the state of Kerala. XIME-K is one of the campuses of XIME group along with other two fully residential campuses, in Bangalore and Chennai. XIME-K is governed by a board, and offers full time PGDM program (2 years) with specializations in Marketing Management, Human Resource Management, Operations Management, Financial Management and Business analytics. The current PGDM batches are of 120 students from 22 states of India.^[1].

XIME pioneered the Association of BRICS Business Schools (ABBS, estd 2008) which is a platform for management education in Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.^[2]

XIME arranges international events in collaboration with seventeen partner institutions around the globe, including campus exchange programmes, faculty exchange programmes and an international study tour for its students. XIME took the initiative in the formation of Association of BRICS Business Schools (ABBS), thus bringing together Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa.^[3]

Located at Kochi known as queen of Arabian Sea, the business school was founded in 1991 when Prof. J Philip ( former Director - IIM B and former Dean - XLRI, Jamshedpur) along with distinguished academicians and professionals laid the founding stone of XIME. The Kochi campus started its journey of excellence in the year 2013, offering PGDM programme. Located in the heart of the Hi-Tech Park in Kalamassery and next to Start-up Village Kerala Start-Up Misison, XIME Kochi’s campus is the best suited for regular industry interactions. With an emphasis on quality education and 100% placement, XIME builds insightful leaders of tomorrow.

XIME group of institutions has three fully residential campuses, in Bangalore, Kochi and Chennai in India. All the campuses possess world-class infrastructure that facilitates learning environment. 'XIME Banglaore' is located in 'Electronic City Phase II', 'XIME Chennai' is located in 'Oragadam' and the XIME Kochi campus in 'Hi-Tech Park, Kalamasserry'

Library

XIME Kochi boasts of a well-planned and organized Library Management System to help the students in easy search and location of over 8000 books, 90 International & National Journals and Magazines, 4 Business Newspapers, 4 General Newspapers and 1 International Newspaper. It is connected to online databases such as EBSCO HOST Database, EBSCO Management Elite Collection (e-books), Gale Cengage e-journal database, DELNET Database, EMIS (Emerging Market Information Services) database for research.

IT Lab

The Computing facilities include fully wired computer LAN with over 200 PCs equipped with software for creating presentations, data analysis, word processing, image capture and modification, statistical analysis and multimedia activity. The PCs are networked to multiple servers. Students have dedicated folder space in the server. The networked facilities Include software development kits, RDBMS and centralized scanning and printing.

Classrooms & Conference halls

There are 6 smart classrooms with seating capacity ranging from 40 to 120. They are fully equipped with public address system and LCD projectors. Other than classrooms, the college has seminar halls, board rooms, placement rooms, MDP rooms, and Auditorium. The State of the art Auditorium has a seating capacity of 500.

Well, planned ladies' hostel and men's' hostels are located next to the academic block and are connected directly to the academic block. Facilities in the hostels are listed below

All basic amenities including 24-hour hot water.

Gym facility including Tread Mill.
Facility for playing Badminton, Table Tennis, Billiards.

The Student Canteen provides quality healthy food for the students. A variety of food cuisines are available for the students keeping both their health and taste in mind such as North Indian, South Indian, Chinese, etc. The mess committee consisting of the students makes sure that the canteen serves fresh and hot meals and the menu is planned so as to serve best the needs of the students.
