Remarks about wikipedia:
It has become clear to me that wikipedia is hampered by the ability of small groups to destroy its credibility simply by any number larger than 1 being able to ruin efforts by a single editor at will, and the close-mindedness of those arbitrating in not doing any serious effort to review a situation even when it's clear but to rather stick to some dogmatic simple-mindedness to 'avoid conflict' and 'not complicate matters' is enhancing that and making sure it remains that way.
As a result of this I'm very much discouraged in doing any more of my (small) efforts to enhance/maintain wikipedia.
