Final Resolution (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on January 16, 2005 from the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first annual event under the Final Resolution chronology. Nine matches were featured on the event's card.
The main event was a standard wrestling match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, in which the champion, Jeff Jarrett, defeated the challenger, Monty Brown to retain the championship. The TNA X Division Championship was contested in an Ultimate X match, in which A.J. Styles defeated Chris Sabin and the champion, Petey Williams. The event's undercard featured different varieties of matches. America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) defeated Team Canada (Bobby Roode and Eric Young) for the NWA World Tag Team Championship on the undercard. Monty Brown defeated Diamond Dallas Page and Kevin Nash in a Three Way Elimination match to challenge Jeff Jarrett for the NWA Championship in the main event.

Against All Odds (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA), which took place on February 13, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first event under the Against All Odds chronology. Eight matches were featured on the event's card.
The main event was for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship between the champion, Jeff Jarrett, and the challenger, Kevin Nash, in which Jarrett won to retain the championship. Another featured match was an Iron Man match for the TNA X Division Championship, in which the wrestler with the most scoring conditions after thirty minutes would win. The champion, A.J. Styles, defeated the challenger, Christopher Daniels, to retain the championship in this match. Multiple bouts were scheduled on the undercard. One saw Abyss defeat Jeff Hardy in a match where the competitors had to climb a ladder and retrieve an envelope to become number one contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, in what is called a Full Metal Mayhem match. The other being for the NWA World Tag Team Championship between the champions, America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) (AMW), and Kid Kash and Lance Hoyt; AMW claimed victory in the match.
The event marked the debut of the Full Metal Mayhem match, which later became one of TNA's most successful match types. The professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer website rated the entire event a 7 out of 10 stars, which was the same rating as the 2006 event.

Destination X (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, which took place on March 13, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first event under the Destination X chronology. Nine matches and two preshow matches were featured on the event's card.
The main event was a Ringside Revenge match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship between the champion, Jeff Jarrett, and the challenger, Diamond Dallas Page (DDP), in which Jarrett retained the title. Another featured match was an Ultimate X Challenge for the TNA X Division Championship involving A.J. Styles, Christopher Daniels, Ron Killings, and Elix Skipper. Daniels was declared the winner of the contest, thus winning the championship from Styles. The Outlaw versus Kevin Nash in a Taped Fist First Blood match and Abyss versus Jeff Hardy in a Falls Count Anywhere match were two matches also featured on the card. The Outlaw and Hardy won their respective encounters.
This event is the only time the Ultimate X Challenge variation of the Ultimate X match has been used. Chris Sokol of the professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer website felt the event was a "tremendous PPV". The event was down by 10,000 from previous TNA PPV events.
Lockdown edit
Lockdown (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, which took place on April 24, 2005, at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first event under the Lockdown chronology and the fourth event in the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. Eight professional wrestling matches and one pre-show match were featured on the event's card. Every match took place inside a six sided steel structure known as the Six Sides of Steel. As a result, Lockdown was the first-ever all steel cage event held in professional wrestling.
The main event was for a NWA World Heavyweight Championship match at TNA's Hard Justice PPV event between A.J. Styles and Abyss. Styles won the match, thus earning his title shot against then-champion Jeff Jarrett at Hard Justice. TNA held the first-ever Lethal Lockdown match during the event. It pitted Team Nash (Diamond Dallas Page, Sean Waltman, and B.G. James) against Team Jarrett (Jeff Jarrett, Monty Brown, and The Outlaw), which Team Nash won. Kevin Nash was originally supposed to take part in the match but was removed due to sickness and was replaced with James. The TNA X Division Championship defense by Christopher Daniels against Elix Skipper was another highly promoted match for the event. Daniels won the bout and successfully retained the title. Jeff Hardy versus Raven in a Six Sides of Steel Tables match was featured on the card, which Hardy won.
This event marked the introduction of the Lethal Lockdown and Xscape matches, which became annually held matches at future Lockdown events. During the event, Chris Candido received an injury during his tag team match with Lance Hoyt against Apolo and Sonny Siaki, which later led to Candido's death from a blood clot as a result of surgery for the injury. Jason Clevett of the professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer rated the event a 6 out of 10, two marks lower than the 2006 event's ranking by Chris Sokol.

Hard Justice (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, which took place on May 15, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first event under the Hard Justice chronology and the fifth event in the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. Eight matches and one pre-show match were featured on the event's card.
The main event was for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship between then-champion Jeff Jarrett and the challenger A.J. Styles with Tito Ortiz as Special Guest Referee. Styles ended up winning the bout, thus winning the championship for the third time. TNA held a Twenty-Man Gauntlet for the Gold to become the number one contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The match came down to Abyss and Ron Killings, with Abyss coming out as the victor. The TNA X Division Championship defense by Christopher Daniels against Shocker was another highly promoted match for the event. Daniels won the bout, successfully retaining the title. The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) defended the NWA World Tag Team Championship against America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm; AMW) on the card. The Naturals ended up retaining the tag team championship over AMW.
The event is marked for Styles' winning the NWA World Heavyweight Championship for the third time and for opening with a memorial for Chris Candido, who died prior to the show. Jason Clevett of the professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer felt the event was the "most entertaining pay per view from TNA since January's Final Resolution."

Slammiversary (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, which took place on June 19, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first event under the Slammiversary chronology and the sixth event in the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. Nine professional wrestling matches, three of which featured championships, and one pre-show match were featured on the event's card. The event commemorated TNA's third-year anniversary, after forming on June 19, 2002.
The main event was the 2005 King of the Mountain match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, in which then-champion A.J. Styles defended the title against Abyss, Monty Brown, Sean Waltman, and Raven. Raven won the match and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The TNA X Division Championship was defended in a Three Way Elimination match by Christopher Daniels against Chris Sabin and Michael Shane. Daniels retained the championship in the encounter. On the undercard, America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) defeated the 3Live Kru (B.G. James and Konnan) in a tag team match. The debut of Samoa Joe was also promoted for the card. Joe defeated Sonjay Dutt in his first match for the company during the show.
The event is marked for the second-ever King of the Mountain match and the debut of Samoa Joe. Jason Clevett of the professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer rated the event a 7 out of 10, higher than the 2006 event's ranking of 6.5 out of 10 by Chris Sokol.

No Surrender (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion, which took place on July 17, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first under the No Surrender chronology and the seventh event in the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. Nine professional wrestling matches and one pre-show match were featured on the card.
The main event was a No Surrender Dog Collar match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, in which then-champion Raven defended the title against Abyss. Raven won the match, thus retaining the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. The TNA X Division Championship was defended by Christopher Daniels against Petey Williams. Daniels retained the championship in the encounter. On the undercard, A.J. Styles defeated Sean Waltman with Jerry Lynn as the Special Guest Referee. Monty Brown and The Outlaw defeated the 3Live Kru (Konnan and Ron Killings) in a Tag Team Street Fight also on the card.
No Surrender is marked by the debut of Rhino in TNA. Jason Clevett of the professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer rated the show an 8 out of 10, equal with the 2006 event's ranking of 8 out of 10 also by Clevett.

Sacrifice (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion that took place on August 14, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first show of the Sacrifice series and eighth event in the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. Nine professional wrestling matches and one pre-show match were featured on the card.
The main event was a Tag Team match between the team of Jeff Jarrett and Rhino facing the team of Raven and Sabu, in which if Jarrett pinned Raven he would earn a future NWA World Heavyweight Championship match. If Raven pinned Jarrett in the contest, then Jarrett would not receive a championship match for an entire year. Jarrett and Rhino won the match, with Rhino scoring the pin. The Finals of the 2005 TNA Super X Cup Tournament took place at Sacrifice between A.J. Styles and Samoa Joe. Joe defeated Styles in the encounter, thus becoming number-one contender to the TNA X Division Championship and winning the 2005 Super X Cup trophy. Also on the card was Jerry Lynn versus Sean Waltman, which Lynn won. B.G. James was Special Guest Referee for a Tag Team match between the team of Kip James and Monty Brown and the 3Live Kru (Konnan and Ron Killings), which the latter won. TNA also promoted an Internet Dream match for the show that involved an internet poll to decide who would face then-TNA X Division Champion Christopher Daniels. Austin Aries was the chosen opponent; Daniels defeated him at the event.
Sacrifice is remembered for the Finals of the 2005 TNA Super X Cup Tournament. Corey David Lacroix of the professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer posted a review of the gathering, stating he felt "there was not a single bad match" on the card.
Unbreakable edit
Unbreakable was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion that took place on September 11, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first and only show under the Unbreakable name and ninth event in the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. Nine professional wrestling matches and two pre-show matches were featured on the card, three of which were for championships.
The main event at Unbreakable was a Three Way match for the TNA X Division Championship, in which then-champion Christopher Daniels defended the title against the challengers A.J. Styles and Samoa Joe. Styles ended up gaining the pinfall in the bout, thus winning the title. The NWA World Heavyweight Championship was defended in a Raven's Rules match between then-champion Raven and the challenger Rhino. Raven pinned Rhino in the encounter to retain the championship. A Four Way Elimination Tag Team match for the NWA World Tag Team Championship was held at Unbreakable, in which then-champions The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) defeated the teams of Alex Shelley and Johnny Candido, America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm), and Team Canada (A-1 and Eric Young) to remain champions. On the undercard, Abyss defeated Sabu in a No Disqualification match during the show.
Unbreakable is remembered for the Three Way TNA X Division Championship match, which received a rare 5 Star match rating from wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer, the first the company had received.[1] The main event was ranked by TNA as the fourth greatest moment in the company's history. Corey David Lacroix of the professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer rated the show an 8 out of 10, stating "TNA's Unbreakable PPV was an astounding buffet of action, catering to the variety of tastes among professional wrestling fans."
Bound for Glory edit
Bound for Glory (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion that took place on October 23, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first event under the Bound for Glory name and tenth event in the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. The show was promoted as TNA's premiere PPV event and their equivalent to the rival World Wrestling Entertainment's (WWE) WrestleMania. Ten professional wrestling matches and one pre-show match were featured on the card, three of which involved championships.
The main event was for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, in which champion Jeff Jarrett fought the challenger Rhino with Tito Ortiz as Special Guest Referee. The match was originally Jarrett versus Kevin Nash with Ortiz as referee, however Nash was not cleared to wrestle due to a medical emergency. A Ten-Man Gauntlet match was held to determine Nash's replacement, which Rhino won. Rhino then went on to defeat Jarrett to win the NWA World Heavyweight Championship at the show. The TNA X Division Championship was defended in a Thirty-Minute Iron Man match by champion A.J. Styles against the challenger Christopher Daniels at the event. Styles defeated Daniels one fall to zero falls to retain the championship. Monster's Ball II was held at Bound for Glory, in which Rhino defeated Abyss, Jeff Hardy, and Sabu. The NWA World Tag Team Championship was successfully defended by America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm) against The Naturals (Andy Douglas and Chase Stevens) at the show. Chris Sabin, Matt Bentley, and Petey Williams competed in a Three Way Ultimate X match to determine the number-one contender to the TNA X Division Championship also on the card. Williams won the encounter to earn a future title match.
Bound for Glory is remembered for Nash being removed from the main event and for Rhino's impromptu championship victory.[2] Rhino becoming champion was ranked by TNA as the 21st greatest moment in the company's history. The event was dedicated to Reggie Lisowski, who died the night prior. Bob Kapur of the professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer rated the show a 9 out of 10, higher than the 2006 edition. It also received a higher rating by the Canadian Online Explorer than WWE's WrestleMania 21 PPV event held on April 3, 2005, which had been given a 5 out of 10 by Dale Plummer and Nick Tylwalk.

Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the first event under the Genesis name and eleventh event in the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. Seven professional wrestling matches and two pre-show matches were featured on the event's card, one of which involved a championship.
The main event was a Six Man Tag Team match pitting the team of Rhino and Team 3D (Brother Devon and Brother Ray) against the team of Jeff Jarrett and America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm). Rhino and Team 3D won the encounter. The TNA X Division Championship was defended by then-champion A.J. Styles against the challenger Petey Williams at the event. Styles defeated Williams to retain the championship. A No Disqualification match between Abyss and Sabu was held at the show. Abyss won the contest. A match to determine the number-one contender to the NWA World Heavyweight Championship took place at Genesis, in which Monty Brown defeated Jeff Hardy for a future title match.
Genesis is remembered for the debut of Christian Cage. It was also dedicated to World Wrestling Entertainment wrestler Eddie Guerrero, who died the day of the show. Cage's debut was ranked by TNA as the 5th greatest moment in the company's history. Turning Point (2005) was a professional wrestling pay-per-view (PPV) event produced by the Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) promotion that took place on December 11, 2005 at the TNA Impact! Zone in Orlando, Florida. It was the second event under the Turning Point name and the twelfth and final event of the 2005 TNA PPV schedule. Nine professional wrestling matches and one pre-show match were featured on the event's card, two of which featured championships.
The main event at Turning Point was for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship, in which then-champion Jeff Jarrett was pitted against the challenger Rhino. Jarrett won the match to retain the title. A.J. Styles defended the TNA X Division Championship against Samoa Joe at the event. Joe defeated Styles to become the new champion. Team 3D (Brother Devon and Brother Ray) fought America's Most Wanted (Chris Harris and James Storm; AMW) in a Tag Team Elimination Tables match at the event, which Team 3D won. TNA held the first-ever Barbed Wire Massacre at Turning Point between Abyss and Sabu. Sabu was the victor in the contest. Christian Cage defeated Monty Brown also at the event.
Turning Point is remembered for the first-ever Barbed Wire Massacre, the announcement of TNA's signing of the wrestler Sting, and Samoa Joe's title win which was ranked by TNA as the 34th greatest moment in the company's history. Bob Kapur of the professional wrestling section of the Canadian Online Explorer rated the show a 7 out of 10, as he had for the 2004 installment.
