Biography.

Early career:

Started working as a greengrocer assistant and rapidly moved on to become graphic artist working for local printers, following redundancy, moved to oxford and worked as volunteer in drop in centre teaching Photography, it was at this point he started his training as an actor becoming a founder member of the theatre company Variation X (ten) performing at festivals and in theatre space in and round oxford . during the early 80’s performed with the poet joe Costello as alternative cabaret double act.

The Nottingham years:

After moving the land of Robin Hood he joined Nottingham Experimental Theatre performing In fringe theatre venue around the east midland this to working with strange fruit theatre as stage manager/technician (sound/lighting) became assistant stage manager for the 1987 festival of live art and run Spotz alternative cabaret club (spotz start by the community art centre he joined as the collective and year join head the group of performer and artist as administrator. Whilst all was happening was performing varied solo stand-up comedy acts until meeting up with the late Mick Tarff, they went on to writing and performing as Post glasnost Comedians . Following several appearances at the Edinburgh fringe festival move to concentrate on straight acting following birth of his daughter 1996 return to Edinburgh as Van Helsing Poor fools theatre production of Dracula.
