Teaset thingies

edit
  • (let's try to be classy. I know we're just college students and eat at the dining halls, but there has to be some way to get relatively nice things)
    • Doilies! Lots of doilies! Doilies are classy, right? Either way, I like saying "doilie"! Doilie, doilie, doilie! -- Nightshade629 (talk) 08:02, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
    • Wow, I totally had no idea what a Doilie was. But yes, those are perfect! --WinterNightz (talk) 15:26, 9 July 2009 (UTC)

Comestibles (The Menu)

edit
  • Tea of various sorts (coffee?)
    • I currently have two different types of green tea: Oolong tea and Gunpowder tea. -- Nightshade629 (talk) 06:04, 10 July 2009 (UTC)
    • Tea! Peet's has a delicious tea called Xiao's Blend (non-caffeine), which I just used to make some soy-milk-tea. This shall most definitely be offered on the menu.
  • cookies! brownies! biscuits!
    • So I was at borders the other day, and I bought "The Cookie and Biscuit Bible". It looks to have sooo many delicious things. Should be enough to cover our needs. Though that brings up the question of costs, really. Tea and borrowed teasets are easy, but baking ingredients may cost a bit. I don't really want to have to ask for tips, or money in general. But who knows. It depends on how giving the ladies feel. Or how giving we make them feel, if you know what I mean. --WinterNightz (talk) 19:02, 25 July 2009 (UTC)
  • These should theoretically be made by us, as that will be even more hardXcore. But we also need things that are totally tea-party-esque. Like those little wafer cookies.

The Menu

edit
  • Tea (plain, milk tea, and soy-milk-tea)
  • Alco'ol (will probably charge special for this? at cost?)
    • Sake (for up to 2! I have a super pretty sake set that I got, and I would love to use it for our lovely ladies--WinterNightz (talk))
  • Biscuits and Cookies

Music!

edit
  • nice ambient teaparty music as well as any and all sorts of dance music that the ladies may request.

Requestable Dances

edit

I would like to have at least 1 boy well-versed in each sort of style so that the ladies can feel fine to request anything they can think of. For example, I like to think I'm at least pretty good at Latin, West Coast and Blues, but Lindy scares me and I suck horribly at Standard, but that's why we can have, say, Fred who is awesome at Standard for that.--WinterNightz (talk) 02:48, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

  • I'm OK with Lindy, latin, WCS, and blues. Achung818 (talk) 06:42, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
  • I'm comfortable with latin dances, as well as most of standard [I don't know any foxtrot, or at least not yet]; perhaps even Lindy and blues. — Michael Nightshade629 (talk) 07:21, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
  • I can do blues! =D And..eh....maybe Latin...um..*feels like a one-trick pony* -Spencer

DRESS UP PRETTY >:O (The point is for this to be a nice event, and t-shirts do not help with that) --WinterNightz (talk) 02:48, 8 July 2009 (UTC)

  • Got any specifics on the pretty? While I'm sure an evening dress would very much flatter my figure, I doubt it'd be appropriate. Achung818 (talk) 06:39, 8 July 2009 (UTC)
  • The easiest thing would just be nice pants + dress shirt, obviously. I don't know if people have anything much fancier than that. If you can go fancier, go for it. If you want to wear something else that's still nice, use your better judgment. If you have no better judgment, ask somebody. >.> --WinterNightz (talk) 01:20, 9 July 2009 (UTC)
