Million milestones
For the first time in Wikipedia History, a showdown over userboxes has occured. Earlier this week, a new policy poll was put into place that, if approved, would allow a mass deletion of userboxes. After many weeks of debates, polls, votes, and Jimbo involvement, this issue has no general concensus. This event will truly show whether or not Wikipedia can survive. If the new controversial policy is adopted, it could cause a wave of resignations from many places. At this time in our great development as an Encyclopedia, we have the final event that will decide our fate. At this time, the Signpost can only speculate.
