This process is a little counter-intuitive - adding a Wiki article to a category actually involves adding a category 'tag' to the Wiki article. Before adding a Wiki article to a category you should look at the list of categories.

What to do

With the article open in edit-mode :

Scroll to the place you want the image to be (by convention category 'tags' are added to the bottom of an article)
Enter '[[Category:category-name]]' where 'category-name' is the name of the category to which you are adding the Wiki article
Click the Save page button - the Wiki article is added to the category

Example

[[Category:Help]]

Added this Wiki article to the Help category.

Any Wiki article can belong to more than one category
Categories can be used hierarchically, or flat
