I'm James Morley, and by day I work at Europeana running Europeana Labs and our outreach and support to developers using the APIs and creative re-users.

My professional interests are focussed around using content, metadata and technology to create things that reach all audiences - public, commercial, academic, or just about any flavour you can think of - and engage them with cultural heritage. I also love crowdsourcing and using open content and open data in clever ways.

Aside from this, but still firmly related to digital cultural heritage, I collect, digitise and share vintage photographs. A selection can be found on my What's That Picture photostream on Flickr. Often this is with a view to gathering more information about them, and equally me helping others with their photographs. To this end I run a number of vintage photograph groups on Flickr.
