Hello! I am Wesley Fryer, an educator and parent currently residing in Edmond, Oklahoma, USA. I maintain an active blog, frequently post website discoveries to Twitter, I use WikiPedia frequently and periodically contribute some edits and new pages. I have diverse interests, but am generally focused these days on promoting constructivist/inquiry-based learning in schools tied to the effective use of digital resources and tools to engage learners. I've been strongly influenced in my thinking about learning and educational technology by John Dewey, Paulo Freire, Neil Postman, Lawrence Lessig, and others.

My inspiration for this was Samuel Klein's user page. (Yes, I know this is a poor attempt at emulation!) I'm not a WikiPedia-guru, but I know this environment is extremely powerful and important for the knowledge landscape of the 21st century. That's why I'm here!
