Applying to Graduate School in Psychology: Advice from Successful Students and Prominent Psychologists[1] is the first published book from APA on pursuing higher education to be edited solely by graduate students and that is predominantly written by graduate students. It may be the first book of its kind from any publisher that is edited and authored by graduate students. is a new addition to the books presently available for students applying to graduate school. It is published by the American Psychological Association (i.e., APA Books) and was officially released on 15 May 2008[1]. At the time of publication, the editors (Amanda Kracen and Ian Wallace) were 5th year graduate students in the counseling psychology doctoral program at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.
